D E T A I L S
The purpose of this facility is to serve as the hub for Navy Special Operations Forces Training such as the Navy Seals. The complex includes six major buildings: a barrack, training, headquarters, DET, supply and maintenance and supported by two mechanical buildings, one open mechanical yard along with an Olympic size aquatic training facility.
The complex design of the structures, which includes 50 foot rake beams intertwining with rake shear walls, stair stepping slopes in opposite directions, took over 7,000 yards of concrete to complete.
