This challenging project involved construction of a new 228,000 square feet store as an addition to the existing Lakeside Mall in the center of Metairie, Louisiana. This project included 3 floors of retail space constructed to the discriminating standards of the Macy’s brand. The foundation included 1290 timber piles which support the structural slab and the steel framed structure. The synthetic stucco exterior features two-color horizontal bands and are highlighted by full-height glass curtain walls at each entrance.
